Indonesian Homework "Writing Fairy Tales"
(Short Story By: Epa Mustopa)
Andi is a Class 3 Elementary School student. He is very active in class with all the creativity and competence in learning. Only one subject he likes less, namely Indonesian language lessons. Understandably, a child stuffed with both parents with various lessons, including math lessons, English language lessons, piano lessons, ICT lessons (computer). Both of his parents put great emphasis on subjects and additional lessons around that and that. Until one day, in the classroom Mrs. teacher taught about a folklore material in Indonesia (fairy tales). He didn't like it very much, because from the very beginning he was always stuffed with the thought that Indonesian subjects were easy subjects.
Until one day something happens in Andi's learning process, both at school and at home;
Mrs. Teacher: "Good children, after you listen to the deer and crocodile tales that you read earlier, try making a fairy tale at home. You can ask for help from your mother, father, brother, or other siblings if you have trouble. Understand! !!! "
Grade 3 students (Answering in unison): "Understand buuuu!"
Arriving home, Andi without further ado sought his brother to ask for help writing a story. Unfortunately, Andi was unlucky, his brother named Nita was attending an additional lesson at school, so he had not returned home.
Andi just sat on his bed which looked soft and pensive. He was confused, where to start writing fables. Finally he thought to ask for help from Mang Ujang and Bi Samah (gardeners and household assistants).
Andi immediately rushed to the kitchen: "Bi, please help Andi to write a fairy tale! Please! Andi can't do Bi!"
Bi Samah: "I'm sorry for Den Andi, how come, aunt doesn't have a tale. It's a fairy tale that aunt has about the life of a pahiiiiit aunt. Sorry, Den, aunt can't!"
Not yet finished with Bi Samah talking, Andi immediately ran out carrying a book and pen in his hand. He shouted to call Mang Ujang.
Andi: "Mang! Mang Ujaaang! Mang Ujaaaang!"
Mang Ujang came running while carrying a hoe,
Mang Ujang: "What's up, Den? Can anyone help Mang Ujang?"
Andi: "Mang, Andi has a duty to write a fairy tale. But, Andi is confused because he can't. Please Mang Ujang tell you any stories, then Andi will write them. Yes, Maaang! Please!"
Mang Ujang: "Waduuuuh, Mang Ujang never attended school Den, in the past, Mang Ujang was not sent to school by parents. So, what should Mang Ujang tell me! Sorry, Den Andiii!"
(Mang Ujang immediately leaves Andi to continue his work taking care of the garden)
Andi starts feeling upset. He immediately went to his room on the second floor and immediately closed the door. I don't know what Andi did in his room. As it turned out, he immediately ran away from his mind with a nap.
It didn't feel like it was late afternoon. Wall clock shows at 7:00 p.m. Andi's parents who were busy working in the office began arriving home.
Andi woke up from his sleep and felt shocked, he opened the curtains in the bedroom window and looked outside the house. The dark scenery outside the house was very shocking to Andi. He thinks it's morning (shubuh). He immediately opened the room door and went down to the ground floor. Andi was very happy, because he saw his father just came home and was opening shoes. Andi immediately hugged his father's legs from behind.
Andi: "Asyiiiiik, my dad already is!"
Andi's father: "Eeeeh, father's son is a champion. What's wrong, why is that so happy?"
Andi: "Look, yeah, Andi has an Indonesian homework to write a fairy tale. Andi asks my father to tell you a fairy tale, then Andi will write it. How about it? Can it?"
Andi's father: "Oh dear, my father's body was really tired. Daddy can't. Try asking for help from Mother! Looks like he's relaxed in the living room!"
The joy of Andi's face disappeared immediately, he immediately pouted to indicate a deep disappointment. He immediately ran and knocked on the door of his mother's room.
Andi: "Buuuu! Ibuuuu! Please open the door, doong!"
Mrs. Andi: "Eh, my chay. What's wrong?"
Andi: "Look, ma'am, Andi has Indonesian homework to write a fairy tale. Andi asks for mother's help to tell a fairy tale, then Andi will write it. Agree, Buuu? Please!"
Mrs. Andi (while scratching her head): "Andi Sayaaang! I'm sorry mother, son, mom will have a facial soon. Mother's face is full of dust all day working in the office, so I have a facial first, huh. Try asking for help from my father!" (While closing the room door)
Because he was so mummified, Andi immediately cried hysterically because of the sadness that no family member would help him.
Andi: "Hiiiiii, hiiiiii, hiiiiiii All of them are so cute! My daddy is your mother!"
And the loud cries and cries of Andi immediately shocked his parents.
Andi's father: "What's wrong kid? How come geude is still crying?"
Andi's mother came out of her room.
Mrs. Andi: "How come I myself cry?"
Andi: "Father and Mother are bad. Don't want to help Andi do homework. Hiiiiii, hiiiiii, hiiiii" (while crying).
Andi's father with an annoyed face immediately got angry and cursed his wife.
Andi's father: "Hey ma'am! Come on already tired of going home from work. Please help Andi do his homework! Even good to make up for yourself in the room. What kind of mother!"
Mrs. Andi began to ignite her emotions.
Mrs. Andi: "What? What do you say? I have given birth to your two children! You do not know how the pain of childbirth. You are incompetent to be the leader of the family. By the way, keep working. uuuuu! "
His father Andi was insulted by his wife's words. He immediately slammed the ceramic flower pot on the table. Preaaaak!
Andi's father: "The base of a woman is rude! Don't know ethics! How dare you lower me! Just because you have a salary that is more geude you can't talk like that in front of our children! It's not educational!"
the fight continues. the sound of glassware continued to sound crushed on the floor. Andi was so scared to see the quarrel, immediately ran and entered his room.
Half an hour later, the voice of the argument was not heard again by Andi. He can only cry and still feel confused about Indonesian homework about writing stories. Finally, Andi decided to write a story about the fights of his father and mother. Andi wrote harsh words made by his father and mother in Indonesian notebooks. There is not much he can write, about half a page Andi writes the story of a fight between his father and mother. He wrote down everything he heard and seen from the scene of the fight. It was a pity for Andi, he wrote while continuing to shed tears due to disappointment and guilt. In his mind, he thought that his parents were fighting because of Indonesian homework.
